A Model of Employee Engagement, Leadership and Followership for Work Performance

You are invited to participate in a survey conducted by Sylvia Baloyi under the supervision of Prof OM Ledimo, a professor in the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology, towards a PhD at the University of South Africa.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY?

The survey you have received has been designed to develop a model to improve workplace performance. Organisations face performance challenges threatening their survival and rely on employees to thrive consistently. Individuals play a crucial role in sustaining performance in the workplace. The researcher intends to discover the core characteristics of employee engagement, leadership and followership essential for the performance model within the South African labour market and propose ways of applying it effectively for the benefit of the organisation.
